How Canada Commerce Global collects and handles personal information.

Who is responsible
Bassili Capital Inc., 6465 autoroute Transcanadienne, Saint-Laurent (QC) H4T 1S3, runs Canada Commerce Global and is responsible for the personal information collected through this site. Under Québec's Law 25, the President of Bassili Capital Inc. is the person in charge of the protection of personal information, and can be reached at joseph.bassili@bassilicapital.com.
What we collect
Your account: email address, password (stored only in scrambled form, never readable by us), name, job title, preferred language, and whether you signed up with Google. Your company: the profile you fill in, logo and products. Your orders: what you bought, amounts, taxes and payment status; card payments are handled by Stripe, and we never see or store card numbers. Each badge: the attendee's name and email, and when it was checked in. Meetings you request or accept, and the leads an exhibitor records by scanning a badge.
What is collected automatically
No advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser keeps a sign-in token so you stay signed in; the portal needs it to work. We count page visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not identify you. When the site breaks, an error report goes to Sentry with the page and the technical fault, not your name or email. Sign-in forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a person, not a bot, is using them.
Why we use it
To run your account, take and invoice your order, issue your badges, check you in, list your company in the directories you paid for, arrange meetings between participants, answer you, and meet our legal and accounting obligations. We only send you news and marketing email if you tick the box for it in your portal, and you can untick it at any time. We do not sell personal information.
Who sees it
Exhibitor profiles and products are public once an order is paid and the company is approved. Buyer profiles are shown only to paid participants. When an exhibitor scans your badge, they receive your name, company and email, as the badge page says; show it only if you agree. Our service providers act on our instructions. Supabase keeps the database and sign-in in Canada, in Montréal data centres. Vercel (hosting and visit counts), Stripe (card payments), Resend (email), Cloudflare (bot protection), Sentry (error reports) and Google, if you sign in with Google, may store or process information outside Québec, including in the United States.
How long we keep it
Your account and company profile, until you ask us to delete them. Orders and invoices, six years after the year of the transaction, as tax law requires. Badges, meetings, check-ins and leads, until twelve months after the event, then deleted or made anonymous. Error reports, ninety days.
Your rights
You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to receive it in a structured, commonly used format, to withdraw your consent, or to have it deleted. You can correct most of it yourself in the portal. Write to the person in charge at the address below; we answer within thirty days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
