The program
What is Canada Commerce Global 2027?
A two-day business expo in Montréal on 11–12 September 2027, and the year-round trade program around it. It connects Canadian manufacturers, producers and service firms with international buyers through meetings prepared in advance on the BassiliTrade platform.
When and where is it?
11–12 September 2027, at Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth, 900 René-Lévesque Blvd W, Montréal, Québec.
Who organizes it?
Bassili Capital Inc., based in Saint-Laurent, Québec. Bassili Capital also operates BassiliTrade, the platform that arranges the meetings. Contact details are in the footer of every page.
Is the event open to the public?
No. It is a business-to-business event for registered exhibitors, buyers and program partners. Every attendee holds a badge.
In which languages does the event run?
English and French, on the website, on site and in all program communications. Meetings take place in whichever language both parties choose.
Is the program only for Québec companies?
No. The program launches from Montréal and adds Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver to the annual promotion cycle over time. Any Canadian company that qualifies can take part.
Is this a one-off event?
No. The expo is the annual rendezvous of a program that runs all year: companies keep a BassiliTrade profile, receive requests for quotes and continue conversations between editions.
Can my organization sponsor or partner with the program?
Yes. Sponsorship and partnership packages for 2027 are being defined with the advisory committee. Trade agencies, financial institutions, industry associations and media that want to be part of the program can write to us now, and we will share the options as they are confirmed.
Exhibiting
Who can exhibit?
Canadian manufacturers, producers, distributors and professional service firms with products or services ready for export. Companies apply and are reviewed before being listed.
Do I need to be exporting already?
No. Companies ready to take their first international order are welcome, and the program's financing and trade-support partners are there to help them do it.
What does a booth cost?
Packages range from a listing-only digital tier to a 6 × 6 m founding booth. Each booth package includes two badges, and extra people can be added. Prices are provisional while the program is finalized; the current figures are on the Exhibitors page.
What is included in a booth fee?
The floor space, the badges listed in the package, prepared buyer meetings, a year-round BassiliTrade profile and AI-matched requests for quotes. Furnishing, electricity, shipping and travel are arranged and paid separately.
What is the Digital package?
Participation without a booth: a BassiliTrade profile, matched requests for quotes and one badge for the two days. It suits companies that want to be in the program before committing to floor space.
How many people can staff our booth?
Each booth package includes two badges. Additional badges can be bought per person at any time before the event.
When do we find out where our booth is?
Booths are assigned by the organizers once your order is paid, and confirmed in your account before the event. Founding packages get priority placement.
Can we ship products and samples to the venue?
Yes. Confirmed exhibitors receive an exhibitor kit with shipping deadlines, the venue's receiving address and move-in and move-out times. Shipping and handling are paid by the exhibitor.
Buying
Do buyers pay to attend?
Buyers attend on a per-person pass, priced well below an exhibitor booth. Your pass is confirmed as soon as your order is paid.
Who can buy a pass?
Anyone. There is no eligibility check: buy a pass, tell us what you are sourcing and we book your meetings. Most buyers are importers, distributors, wholesalers, retail and e-commerce buying teams, procurement managers, public purchasing bodies and trade delegations.
How many suppliers will I meet?
It depends on your sourcing categories and how many meetings you confirm. Meetings run in 25-minute slots across four blocks over the two days, and you can add more on site.
Can I bring colleagues?
Yes. The pass is per person, so each attendee needs their own. Colleagues can share one schedule or run separate ones.
Can I visit booths outside my scheduled meetings?
Yes. The expo floor is open to all badge holders during floor hours, and exhibitors keep open time between prepared meetings.
Prices and payment
Are the prices final?
Not yet. The figures on the Exhibitors and Buyers pages are provisional and will be confirmed before registration opens. Anyone who has registered interest is told first.
Are taxes included?
No. All prices are in Canadian dollars before GST and QST.
How do we pay?
Once your application is approved, you choose a package and receive an invoice. Your listing, directory access and meeting requests are unlocked when it is paid. Online card payment is being added.
What is the cancellation and refund policy?
If we cancel the event, every order is refunded in full, and if we move it to other dates or another venue you may choose a full refund instead. For any other cancellation, write to us. The full terms are on the terms page and are part of every order.
Meetings and BassiliTrade
How are meetings arranged?
Meetings are set up before the event. The BassiliTrade platform matches buyer needs to what participating companies supply, and both sides confirm meetings in advance rather than meeting by chance on the floor.
What is BassiliTrade?
The platform behind the program. Companies keep a profile with their products and business needs, artificial intelligence routes matching requests for quotes to them, and the connections continue between events.
Do I need a BassiliTrade account?
Yes. It is created as part of registration. Your profile is what the matching runs on, so the more complete it is, the better your meetings.
What is a request for quotes (RFQ)?
A buyer's description of what they want to source. BassiliTrade routes each request to the suppliers able to answer it, who reply with a quote.
Can I ask to meet a specific company?
Yes. Once your order is paid you can browse the directory and request meetings directly. The other side confirms, and the slot appears in both schedules.
What happens after the event?
Follow-up documents, samples and negotiations continue through BassiliTrade, and your profile keeps receiving matched requests all year.
Venue and travel
How do I get to the venue?
Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth sits above Central Station, where VIA Rail trains arrive, and is connected to Bonaventure metro station through the Underground City. From Montréal–Trudeau airport it is about 25 to 40 minutes by taxi, or the 747 express bus.
Where should I stay?
The venue is a hotel, and downtown Montréal has many others within a short walk. Any negotiated rate will be announced to registered participants.
Do I need a visa to come to Canada?
Many international visitors need a visa or an electronic travel authorization (eTA). Check the requirements for your passport with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada well in advance. We provide a letter of invitation to confirmed participants on request.
Is the venue accessible?
Yes, the venue is step-free throughout. Tell us about any accessibility needs when you register and we will make arrangements.
Is there parking?
Paid parking is available at the hotel and in public garages nearby.
Registration
How do I register?
Create an account with your email address or your Google account, tell us who you are, then add your company. That is the whole application; we review it and get back to you by email.
What happens after I apply?
We review the application against the demand we see in your sector. Once approved, you choose a package, receive an invoice, and build your BassiliTrade profile so matching can begin.
Do I need an account to buy a pass or a package?
You need one, but you do not need to make it first. Checkout asks for an email address and a password, or a Google sign-in, and creates the account on the spot.
Is there a deadline?
Floor space is limited and booths are assigned in order of paid orders, so earlier is better. Buyer passes stay open closer to the event.
